ইন্টারনেট জায়েন্ট, গুগল+ বন্ধ করে দেয়ার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে

মুক্তকথা সংবাদকক্ষ।। গুগলের ঘোষণা-“Shutting down Google+ for consumer(personal) accounts on April 2, 2019″। দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ব্যবসায়ী সফল করার চেষ্টায় সফলকাম হতে না পেরে অবশেষে চলতি বছরের ২রা এপ্রিল আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বন্ধ করে দেয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে ‘ইন্টারনেট জায়েন্ট’ গুগল। ফলে চলতি বছরই আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বন্ধ হচ্ছে গুগলের সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যম ‘গুগল প্লাস’। দীর্ঘ সাত বছরের চেষ্টার পরও আশানুরূপ ফল না আসায় শেষ পর্যন্ত এটি বন্ধের সিদ্ধান্তের কথা ঘোষণা করেছে গুগল। আগামী ২ এপ্রিলে বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ার অপেক্ষার আছে সামাজিক যোগাযোগের এই মাধ্যমটি।
বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ার কারণেই গত ৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকেই সব ধরনের নতুন কর্মকান্ড তৈরী বন্ধ রেখেছে গুগল কর্তৃপক্ষ। অবশ্য গুগল প্লাস বন্ধ হয়ে গেলেও গুগল ছবিতে ব্যাকআপ হিসেবে রাখা ছবি ও ভিডিও মুছে যাবে না বলে জানিয়েছে এর নির্মাতা প্রতিষ্ঠান।
উল্লেখ্য, ২০১৮সালের ডিসেম্বর মাসে গুগল মুলতঃ এ ঘোষণা জানিয়েছিল। এ সংক্রান্ত গুগলের ঘোষণার প্রয়োজনীয় কিছু অংশ নিচে পত্রস্ত করে দেয়া গেলো।

If you sign in to sites and apps using the Google+ Sign-in button, these buttons will stop working in the coming weeks but in some cases may be replaced by a Google Sign-in button. You’ll still be able to sign in with your Google Account wherever you see Google Sign-in buttons. Learn more

If you’ve used Google+ for comments on your own or other sites, this feature will be removed from Blogger by February 4th and other sites by March 7th. All your Google+ comments on all sites will be deleted starting April 2, 2019. Learn more

If you’re a G Suite customer, Google+ for your G Suite account should remain active. Contact your G Suite administrator for more details. You can also expect a new look and new features soon. Learn more
